Darren Rhodes
Hello guys, Simple question, I'm trying to find the paint code for the Lancia Stratos light green so I can place a Zero paint order. Extensive searching has come up with Bertone Verde, or variations thereof, but none are listed in the Lechler database so I've drawn a complete blank. cmatthewbacon
I _think_, noodling around a bit, that it might be actually be Fiat Verde Chiaro 358 (which is in the Lechler DB). I found a couple of references on foreign language sites to the Stratos Stradale being Verde Chiaro (light green), and this: Is a FIAT Bertone Spider in Verde Chiaro 358. This: Is an X1/9, which of course was also a Bertone production. If you want to take the easy way out, this: is the Hasegawa Miura in Tamiya TS-22 straight from the can... HTH! bestest, M. Darren Rhodes
Thanks Matt, I did come up with that, but googling on Fiat Verde Chiaro 358 also brought up a quite different shade, may be the code has been reused. I'm sure Steve at Hiroboy will be able to refine from that if necessary. I did think of going Tamiya TS, but I get so much better results with Zero paints that I've given up on the Tamiya TS sprays. Darren PS You're Miura in Verde Chiaro is amazing, another one to add to my wish list, and amazingly not yet in my stash.
cmatthewbacon
Thanks, Darren. If it helps, the dates on the Verde Chiaro 358 in the Lechler DB make sense, so if it has been reused later, that's not the one the Lechler mix refers to. Bestest, M.
