HL-10
This is Tamiya's Mid Production Tiger I. I added a set of resin Zimmerit by ATAK. It is very thin resin that is just attached to the kit in the required places. The set has a replacement mantlet and escape hatch that are a straight swop for the kit parts. I've never used this product before, but I can recommend it very highly! I used Tamiya acrylic to paint the tank. The turret numbers are painted on. The figure is from Tamiya's Panther G and is painted with Humbrol enamels. I replace the tow rope with brass wire and to give the tank an autumnal look, I added some paper leaves from Plus Models. how to screen capture free screenshot software free photo hosting image hosting gif image uploading site take a screenshot how to screenshot on windows uploading images image hosting 10mb limit photo sharing Thank you for looking

Silver Fox
Nice work, the leaves are a classy touch. I was given one of these for my birthday and am trying to find an ATAK stockist in the UK, did you get your resin from the UK?

Miggers
Like it HL,like it a lot. Nicely done(well researched too I'd say)nicely weathered and no rusty tracks that didn't actually rust on German armor. Tigers are the daddy for me when it comes to tanks. I'm more of an early production man myself,I think the mid and lates look rather odd without the big Fiefels on the back somehow.

HL-10
Again, Many thanks for the comments and Compliments. Tigers are the daddy for me when it comes to tanks. I'm more of an early production man myself,I think the mid and lates look rather odd without the big Fiefels on the back somehow. The Tiger is my favourite too, all types, late, early (I too like the air filters, but I also like the turret mounted smoke grenade launchers!) I just think it has a solid presence! Hence my little collection: Early production Russia (Academy 1/35th): click image upload Mid production Normandy (Dragon 1/35th): temp image upload Early Kursk, (Hen Long 1/16th): uploading pictures Another early production Kursk (Zvezda 1/35th): images upload And an initial production in Tunisia (Tamiya 1/35th): imgur I have another to build, AFV Clubs late model which I'm going to do as Michael Whitman's last Tiger, then I want to do a model of the Bovington Tiger to round off the collection
Miggers
Mine's a 1/16th Hen Long too(it's 7 years old). A big heatsink on it's original RX13 board,Tamiya tracks, the usual mods to the turret, home -brewed recoil mechanism and 3:1 gearboxes, repaint, all that jazz. The only thing is whilst trying to get the recoil working I cocked up the gun elevation wiring and now that doesn't work. Can't remember the unit.,but it's turret number 213 from a training camp. PlaStix
Wow! Great collection of Tigers there - all beautifully made! Well done. I'm just in the process of building my first Tiger (second ever tank since I was a kid) over in the D-Day group build. It's in 1/72 though. I can see why you like them!
