Found this half started and decided to build as one of the Bovington Tank Museum rides vehicles.

This will involve finding/making bus seats for the rear, a modified rear tilt and rear door. Although not fitted to the original I will probably add the .50 to the gun ring.

I am slow modeller so this may take some time to complete.

Can't see to closely as the images are very small, but it certainly looks like an interesting scheme. I built one of these a few years ago, I seem to recall the fit was quite awkward around the cab, have you had any problems there?

Have increased image size now that I have found out how.

The fit is good now with no filler needed up to now, the kit came with a second cab floor which seems to have cured potential cab fit problems!

Thanks for looking

  • 2 weeks later...

A small update all seats have been cast and cleaned up ready for paint, an aerial base has been sourced and fitted to the front panel ready for painting and the tracks and side skirts fitted.

As not much has been done there are no photo updates at present. More soon I hope!

Didn't realize how long this has been around!

Managed to finally finish it with the help of Colin Moxam(decalman)

Anyway here's the finished model
