goggsy
Hi all Does anyone know if Vulcan XH588 shows up on the Flightradar 24 app? Given that it is essentially a civil aircraft now and the app works of civil transponders it seems possible. The reason I ask is I'm kicking my heels around Carlisle at the moment waiting for a flypast at 4.30 and it would be useful to get an exact picture of when it's likely to arrive. We were supposed to have the 2 lancs today as well but they couldn't take off because of fog at Conningsby
goggsy
Well, still none the wiser as I couldn't get web coverage at Crosby but she made it anyway - a couple of all to brief low passes, great to see her.

Dave Fleming
BBMF are essentially military aircraft, so don't show up. Try searching for the Vulcan as G-VLCN

HOUSTON
Followed the Canadian "VERA" ON Flight radar 24 but couldn't find the Vulcan ..I think they kept it a secret !
goggsy
Apparently the BBMF aircraft have a transponder type gadget on them that gliders use for collision avoidance which allows them to be tracked on the internet.http://live.glidernet.org/#c=53.47644,10.34920&z=
HP42
I was at Duxford on Saturday when the Vulcan arrived. I did check Flightradar to answer this very question! Alas I couldn't see it on screen, so I guess it doesn't show up.

Alas I couldn't see it on screen, so I guess it doesn't show up. That's because it's so stealthy
GrahamS
You can find the Vulcan by logging on to FR24 and search for XH558. Then look skyward and look for the trail of black smoke - and low and behold there she is! Easy Graham
