Head in the clouds.
I brought some new paints today and as is my want I usually shake the others to keep them good, I did this with a glass bottle of Alclad Grey primer. Inside the bottle was a little piece of ceramic which was in another bottle I brought so I added one to this bottle. As I shook the bottle grey primer went everywhere spraying my clothes, chair , wall and modelling bench. I thought the lid was loose but upon further inspection (and another shake causing more spray ) I found a chunk of glass broken from the bottle but still, by some miracle, in place, has anyone else had this problem with the little ceramic pieces,? I should have known better but I thought they were there to help aggitate the contents, now it Is I that is aggitated. One spot of luck though, it missed my models but hit everthing else. little-cars
Hi, Am a little confused. Did you take an agitator from another bottle and put it in the alclad primer bottle. Then you shook it and it broke ? Paul
Riggers
Gary, Seems like your title suits you mate!! They put 1 agitator in a bottle for a reason mate! NEVER add another....as you found out!!! ATB
Head in the clouds.
Paul ; I took the ceramic from an empty container and added it to the full bottle of Alclad. ATB ; I only added one, not two, even I have my limits dear fellow ! Upon reflection, maybe I was just a little too vigorous with my shaking, all I know is it made a mess.
