gurkanozkan
Sorry for the title. Its a M4a1 76 mm not M4a3.... A cheap but detailed, fine kit from hobbyboss Its 200 pieces, some pe parts in it. I painted by brush, used oil and pigments. I finished it in 3 days I tried to work a Canadian tank used in 2nd tank brigade in Italy between 1944-45 I hope you enjoy Edited September 1, 2014 by gurkanozkan

JackG
Great job on this one, and hand brushed at that - very cool! Regarding the unit you have chosen to display, I'm always open to learning about history, but are you sure Canadians had the 76mm Sherman in Italy? I guess anything is possible, but the markings you have chosen to display combined with your text, don't match. The Canadian 2nd Armoured Brigade never served in Italy. The formation sign, gold leaf on red background, is of the 5th Armoured Division, did serve in Italy. The '52' denotes the second senior regiment, indicating this is the Three Rivers Regiment. http://www.canadiansoldiers.com/vehicles/markings/formationsigns.htm regards, Jack

Thank you Pete. I read that there was a canadian team with firefly and 76 mm both inside. But theres no official source and photo I know that there are 76 mms in canadian army after ww2 Thank you Fredben. Youre so kind
redcap
Really nice Sherman and the fuel stains are a nice touch but often missed on M4 models. Just one thing, the optics on the turret cupola look to be matt paint; just brush some gloss varnish over them to give the impression of glass/optics and it will really improve the overall appearance in that area.
