kwaterous
I would like to build the Tamiya M41 in 1:35, but from what I reckon, it's in need of some improvement, my question is, what aftermarket would you fellows recommend? I know there are 2 AFV club track sets, a fruil track set, PE sets from AFV club and Eduard, and probably more, so what's my best bet? K
PhantomMajor
Im building one myself and i'm using after market fruil tracks, replacement fuel cans from tamiya accessories pack and PE fuel can holders i got from Accurate Armour. I decided against buying a replacement gun barrel as it doesnt come with the "T" section, you have to salvage that from the kit. i will probably replace the .50 cal machine gun as well...possibly using something from the spares box or a verlinden accessories item you havent said particular era you plan to do yours from but mine will be a south vietnamese tank. kwaterous
Thanks PhantomMajor. Good to know about the barrel, I had thought it was a complete replacement... Darn To be honest, I haven't gotten as far as planning the maklings yet, are there significant differences between users? PhantomMajor
Thanks PhantomMajor. Good to know about the barrel, I had thought it was a complete replacement... Darn To be honest, I haven't gotten as far as planning the maklings yet, are there significant differences between users? K not that i'm aware of but i'm focusing on the south vietnamese tank and from what i can see they had both types in use...curved mud guards and square ones which come on the tamiya tank
