OzH
Just recieved the latest SAMI and on the first page is a Fly models advert for Autum 2014 that has a 1/32 Westland Wessex HC.2....! Just had a poke around thier website and on the web in general and can't see anying else on it... Anyone have any news on this... Certainly one I'll be buying when it comes out.. heloman1
Hi Oz, Tony O'Toole saw the same ad and knowing my fondness for the Wessex, alerted me to it. I too looked at Fly's site but as you say, no mention of it there. So a Walter then! Maybe we can wonder as to an HU5... Unless it's a real stunner, I don't think I would bother. sniperUK
I hope they don't just rebox the same kit with different decals and for the HC.2 stay away from the boring Cyprus scheme and give us 72 Sqn complete with full NI fit with ECM , flare/chaff dispenser, Nite-sun and GPMG, as well as yellow SAR markings. Homebee
First sprue Source: http://www.fly814.cz/news/first-sprue-for-the-wessex-hc-2-hu-5-1-32/ V.P. Edited February 8, 2015 by Homebee
heloman1
I had a look at the link above, only one sprue, maybe it's going to be a part work! I'm undecided as whether I would purchase one, I've five Italeri Wessex and six Revell kits still to build, then then available space in my display...
