Paul_FGR4
I have successfully ruined my f6f with an acrylic wash how do I get it off without ruining the paint scheme or decals
charley420
Is it on top of acrylics?
Paul_FGR4
Yes and decals forgot to laquer between paint/decals and wash
charley420
Hmm slim to no chance of removing it without affecting the underlying finish. Its best to use an enamel wash over acrylics as the acrylic seem impervious to enamel thinners.

PhoenixII
Paul, you could do worse than invest in a bottle of Fairy power spray (or have a look in the kitchen cupboards!) Not as vicious as oven cleaner, BUT, they both have a caustic soda base, and unless you have the correct P.P.E. don't use 'Dot 4' brake fluid. While it WILL move paint, the stuff is evil when not used for it's intended purpose. HTH Paul
