Shermaniac
Crikey! That works out at about 1 model every 10 days. And, you're the first one to do the full build of the Higgins Boat and troops. Well done. You have time to do another 12 models before Christmas
fredben
That's a lot of builds and all built and painted first class. You have been busy over the last few months. I like your selection of builds also. :clap2: :clap2:
philp
Good stuff. Couple quick questions. 1. Where did you get the Vickers for the LRDG Chevy? That is how I want to arm one. 2. I am curious over the camo over the wheel on the Marmon-Herrington Mk II. I recently acquired the kit and wonder if this is based on a photo? 3. How was the build on the LCVP and the detail on the troops? I am going to have to pick one up.
Stashaholic Steve
That's some completion rate!! The assemblies all look very neatly done, and the basic painting is of a good standard. The only thing I would say is that most of them still look rather toy-like and clean. They would all benefit greatly from some washes and filters to give them more depth and to bring out the detail, plus some subtle weathering to add realism. Work on these skills and you will be able to turn decent models into very good ones.
