Alpha Delta 210
Hi A few quick edits from a very pleasant show, despite the non-appearance of the Lancasters due to poor weather. As soon as the announcement was made about the non-appearance of the Lancasters was made, I decided to leave due to worsening weather and a two-hour drive! Thanks for looking.

Parabat
Cracking shots of the Mustangs, your pics look great. A real pity the Lancaster's couldn't be there.

Paul J
Love both of Maurice Hammonds Mustangs together. Don't often see them though I have alternate years at Shoreham but only the once each. A question re these two. Why don't they ever appear at Duxford 'Legends show???? Which Auster IV is that?
brianthemodeller
You must have been standing about 20 feet from me as it have VERY similar pictures! Do you mind if I add mine to your thread later on rather than starting a new one??

Do you mind if I add mine to your thread later on rather than starting a new one?? Hehe! I think there's a lot of this, 'were we standing next to each other' thing going on, as I was thinking the same.... In fact I sometimes wonder why I bother taking pictures at airshows. Thank you for posting Mr Alpha Delta. I can see you had a Nikon D610, but what was strapped on the end of it?

IrritableRabbit, I use a Nikon AF-S 300mm f/4D IF-ED prime lens on my D610, and a 18-200mm VR lens on my second body - a D7000.

Alpha Delta 210
Thanks very much for taking the time to comment, Houston. I'm really pleased you liked my pictures. I loved the Mustangs, but I was also delighted to see the PR9 for the first time since it retired from service. I'm hoping to see the Lancasters at a couple of shows before "Vera" leaves us.
