The dragonborn
I got the cockpit done with some seatbelts and thicker cushions for the seat, as i didn't feel like painting the pilot. Untitled now i am about to move the wingfences inboard by 8mm(measured along the leading edge): Untitled Edited August 19, 2014 by The dragonborn

The dragonborn
Today's progress. The nose fit was quite bad and i think it looked a bit to pointy, so it got some rhinoplasty. The wing needed some filler too... Edited August 19, 2014 by The dragonborn
Tim Moff
Looks cool....did you simply slice off the fences and move them inboard into the lice in the pics above, then fill? Ever considered plastic surgery in your spare time!! I have a 1/48 for the build and an Airfix 1/72 on the way I might use if time permits! The dragonborn
Looks cool....did you simply slice off the fences and move them inboard into the lice in the pics above, then fill? No, i replaced them with new ones from sheet plastic, because the old ones curled up as i sliced them off.

chrisrope
Looks superb You don't have to put the band on if you don't want to. It was only temporary for the purposes of the exercise and would have been removed again afterwards. I didn't put it on my RAF Sabre either Chris
