Troy Smith
topics says it all, Train Times in Eastbourne has reopened http://traintimesmodelshop.com/news/ Sadly, Trevor, who was a member here as Sunshine Coast, died last year, and the shop has been in limbo. It's now under new ownership and open again, run by a young chap called Sebastian. I dropped in today after Airbourne - http://www.visiteastbourne.com/airbourne/ to see what was going on, as he's just taken over stock is quite low, he knows more about trains, but he was happy for me to witter on about aircraft kits. The shop does trains and accessories and also aircraft and military kits, and the usual materials, paints by Humbrol and tamiya, and a railway line. Sorry, I know not a jot about model trains, so I think there may well be a range of range of railway paint as well. As real shops are getting scarce, it's good to see one rise again, as the shop with his name has been here since the 60's. hope of interest, drop in if you are in the area, he's interested to hear what modeller's want. Also, the opening times are on the link, but he says he's often in the shop till later, so worth phoning to see if he's going to still about after 5pm, or just in the shop. Late opening on a friday too.
Glen T
I was tempted to pop in there after Airborne on Friday didn't know it had been shut or that the owner had passed away. met him a few years back when I bought a secondhand made up pair of Radley models CO/CP motor cars, stock I used to work on the Underground, spent a while chatting with him. Sadly as I was with family Friday and I got side tracked so I'll have to pop down again in a month or so and pop in.

Loft-full
I think some of the links to the shop are now defunct. Try this one instead. http://soccom.co.uk/traintimes/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=61&Itemid=
