mrnothersan
Hi, Just a quick question... W&N Galeria Varnish has been recommended to me. Which varnish do you use, and what exactly do you use it for? I'm looking for something that will "clean" the clear plastic windows and polish the model off nicely. It's a Revell model just FYI. Thanks. Edited August 14, 2014 by mrnothersan
Mitch K
I use W&N Galeria matt all the time. I've found it's great stuff as the final matt coat on aircraft or figures, and will airbrush or hairy brush equally well. I'm not sure how well it will work on transparancies - I've never tried it and in the past matt varnish and clear bits didn't mix well, as it made the clear bits go opaque. On aircraft I've been spraying it on as a final coat, then removing the canopy masks and going over the clear bits with Kleer on a brush.
