mark73
Has anyone built this kit yet, I mostly build modern jets but looking at the quality of their kits I think I'll give some sci fi kits a go.
marty_hopkirk
Built a number of Fine Molds sci-fi and none sci-fi kits, but not this one. My experience is they are quality and there are not many kits in any genre that can beat them. I hope that helps. Marty...
Will Vale
I haven't built this one, but one thing to note is that it's surprisingly small - the fighter is just over 4" long. You do get the hyperdrive ring though. Will
Madmonk
As with all FM Sci-Fi kits it is excellent. I built it a few years a go when it first came out, didn't take any photos and unfortunately it didn't survive the house move. The only thing I would suggest is don't use the decals for the main brown colour, paint it. The decals are very brittle, as with all the SW kits. I if it's your first trip into FM Sci-Fi I can highly recommend the TIE Fighter, X-wing or Darth Vader's TIE, all 3 are brilliant. On the X-wing you will need to give the decals a coupler of thin coats of varnish before using as they tend to break up when used. Arronax
I built this kit when it first came out. It's a nice but small kit with small parts and a huge decal sheet. The decal sheet presents the most problems with this kit. I reviewed the kit on the CultTVMan site and included the list of possible solutions for the decals. There are also pictures! http://culttvman.com/main/jim-james-jedi-starfighter/ Edited August 15, 2014 by Arronax
SeanM
A great little kit but the decals are a challenge as others have said
