Rob P
I predicted this a while back when the Typhoon came out. The sprue labelling gave it away.
ruudster
i'll buy it! I always seem to buy the Hasy weapons sets. Like having too many decals, i like to keep my options open.
Excess
That's cool, but where oh where are the Armement Air-Sol Modulaire's???? I wish they had those instead of the Alarms which are out of service, or the AMRAAMS which seem to be in every set!.
Antoine
Those sprues were released first with the Eurofighter kit. No need for AASM then.
LeVi Tophatter
Those sprues were released first with the Eurofighter kit. No need for AASM then. Yep, the same sprues bar the A-A missiles are also in the 'updated' 12 Squadron Tornado GR.4 kit. I never knew the Brimstone 'tri launchers' launchers were angled downwards... This looks to be the new trend with Hasegawa, include a weapons set in a kit then sell it separately later but I guess they've covered most bases now... The new Russian Weapons set coming out is made up of the fairly comprehensive weapons set in the new Su-35S kit, comes with a modern Russian pilot(s) too. The KAB1500 bomb looks like it could sink a country and that KH-31 missile looks like a space rocket...
Antoine
They also use their old weapon sets for some of their lattest repop, ROCAF starfighter and top gun skyhawk for exemple. In the A-4's case, you get a whole sprue full of GBU, harpoon and JDAM for an ACMI pod only.

Antoine
Yes, but I think the price reflect the presence of this new sprue, too. At least a bit. But I don't know if they'll keep on following this line. Beside, you only know it when you open the box, or when you come upon a Britmodeller's review.... Don't know what to think about hasegawa's commercial strategy.

Antoine
Aha, right I understand now. I still need Skunk Models to shrink their 1/48 French set! Another possibility is to turn toward l'Arsenal resin aircraft weapons range, not too expensive, up to date, and growing steadily in size.
