Eduards 1/144 Spitfire

Recommended Posts

Hello All,

My interpretation of 79 Sqn RAAF Spitfire VIII (yes I know the kit is really a Mk IXe). Fun to build and fun to paint -- happy days!

That's beautiful!

I have to admit I have a soft spot for good 1/144 kits, but to me they are more "modeling jewelry"--fine examples of the mold-maker's art--than something these old eyes and hands could actually build! I take my hat off to anyone who can make them look good.

Your work is excellent, and I can see I need to add these little Eduards to my collection of Sweet and Platz kits.

Hello Ian.Thanks for the info.I m a bit of a danger with airbrush. Was thinking of trying Mk9c wings with Mk9e fuselage (for the broad chord tail ) alter air intake and cowl and fit tailwheel doors to make Mk8. Will stay in touch.cheers.
