beefy66
This is my attempt at making a scene from a photo that gave me the inspiration to try out some water techniques the kit is the great little Revell type D 1/72 small sub the base is made from some scrap pieces of wood for the box sides and the water is made up from building insulation foam board and clear silicon painted and clear coated. Let me know what you think but be gentle I am sensitive Cheers Beefy66

longshanks
Hi Beefy, Missed this somehow (probably cos I'm not a fan of subs) looking good! How did you get paint to stick to silicone? Your only problem is lighting . . . the pictures look flat doing your boat no justice at all Cheers Kev

Jockster
Very nice model Beefy, the first set of pics give it a very north Atlantic, cold, cloudy day feel. I like that but the second set definitely show of all your hard work. Very impressive.

KAYELL
:shrug:How do you prevent all that water from your base from spilling over to your table? LOL You have got the effects spot on. Cheers K
