IanC
Nice StuG. I'd just paint that staple joining the tracks to make it less visible. It's a good idea to practise on the cheapy models. The StuG IV seems a popular choice on Britmodeller. Watch where it ends though, as I've got a stash of Dragon kits which I can't be bothered making as the Tamiya jobs are so much easier to build. The later ones are pretty accurate too. Ian
waylander
thanks, i hadnt painted it as i dont think it will be visible once the schurzen is on. is there a good way to get vinyl tracks to join without out resorting to stapling them? IanC
The old method is using a heated screwdriver to carefully melt the locating pins once the track is joined. But as you say, once the skirts are on you won't notice the staples.
