MickE
After a long, painful jouney I have finally completed the Special Hobby 1/48 Heinkel He 115B. Here are some pictures of the completed model. There is a build thread in the work in progress forum.

Jon Kunac-Tabinor
Bravo!!! I think that looks splendid. From what I've seen this is not a model that builds itself , so a big well done for getting it finished, and to such a high standard. MickE
Thanks chaps. You are right Jonners it's certainly no 'Tamigawa'. Special Hobby could have made it a better kit. Mick

Planebuilder62
Well done. It looks much better finished than the old Matchbox kit in 1/72.
MickE
Thanks all for the comments. Pat I must confess! I was going to mask the canopies with tape but decided that life was too short so i used the Eduard mask set instead despite the cost (around £8). I may add some weathering, I am not sure yet. I hope to show it at Avon, Farnborough and Telford. Mick
