Quick bump - I put a request for decals in "Wanted" last week. I've managed to cock up (twice!) three stencil decals: a yellow arrow, some black text and some white text on the FLIR pod. I know it's a long shot, but if anyone has any spares from this kit I've be willing to buy them. Cheers.

The red on the gun muzzle isn't actually a stripe mate,it's a sort of bung. You can see it's red on the RAF one & yellow on the German one...

Many thanks to the phototgraphers of the images.

Hmmm thanks for that Spike, I'll add it to the list of things I remembered wrongly! I could have sworn I've got a picture of that aircraft with a red stripe painted along the length of the exposed muzzle.

I might have a spare set. Once I've recovered from my Stag do last night I'll have a look. It'll be the morning.

Exquisite detail :)

Map's a lovely touch. If any one asks it's the 1:50'000 Ordnance Survey IP to tgt Map. Lakes a bit big for the 1:500,000 route map........

I do hope you get a decent canopy doc - this is simply spectacularly good.

Ta - in reality it's a 1:25,000 Outdoor Explorer map I think, but even so it's really much too big for the scale. Still, what's the point of printing a map too small to tell it's a map? Modeller's license and all that.

This one is going to fight all the way to the bitter end. Iv'e already had to overspray the middle bit of the stb'd wing (there is a light shade mismatch), and the wing root swept bit is still not the same shade side to side. I guess my ocd won't let it go. Still plently of opportunity for it to end up in the bin.

I must admit, there a lot of Tornado builds that have the "fought me all the way" comment. They do seem more complicated than they first appear. I think in many ways an overall grey finish is more difficult to get looking right than any other finish.

G,

Those are the most convincing Tornado underwing stores I have ever seen modeled. Awesome work. They are going to look the total dog's g**a*s when you attach them.

This is incredible, absolutely gorgeous in every way. The stores look fantastic.

Definetly a competition winner there!
