shood23
Right that's it last one is done and it looks as though the aston is the clear winner. I'll post progress later Shaun

roymattblack
If you want to make the model into a 'proper' Aston - ie: RIGHT hand drive, it's not too difficult. I've got lots of info, pics and help based on my own build if you wish to go that way... Roy.
shood23
To be honest I don't know what tamiya were playing making it lhd so roy yes I would like the info on how to make it back into the good old British car it should be please One thing I have been stunned with so far it that the mould line on it seem to be unsandable, i went over them with high grit then over the whole body with a finer grit and primed it and the bloomin lines have popped out again so I've sanded them down again to with an inch of its life primed again and they are still noticeable, once it's dry i am thinking of going over all of them with some super glue to fill them hopefully that will sort it Shaun
roymattblack
I must have been lucky - mine didn't have any bad mould or seam lines. The ones it DID have sanded out easily. I'll post a 'short' build thread of my DBS dashboard conversion For you to see. Roy. Edited July 24, 2014 by roymattblack

Hugh Jampton
Shaun Still time to change your mind, go for the Lotus, one of my all time favorites, bit of a dog on the track, and definitely Lotus past their best but what a livery, the tall air box gave it a better look than the 99T. Go on, the Aston can wait. John
shood23
Right beings as there is such a strong following now for the lotus and as I am so far behind with the dbs i will be doing the lotus along side it from tomorrow, it just makes sense really as that was probably the one I wanted to do deep down as well Shaun
