TEMPESTMK5
Good afternoon I would like to participate this Gb with a P 47 Bubbletop Tamiya representing the aircraft flown by Capt Fred Christensen which scored 21,5 victories while he served with the 56 Fighter Group http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fred_J._Christensen , he shot down an FW 190 near Evreux Airdrome on july 5th .. I will use Lifelike decals to get this As usual I started with the cockpit painted green Humbrol 150 with some white and red spots black instruments and panels I changed the seat for a Pavla one that I prefer .. And the engine from the kit Patrice

greatgonzo
You need no magneto between distributors. Turtle Backs had integrated magnetos and there was only covering plate there. They should be black too, by the way.
TEMPESTMK5
Hello Greatgonzo Thank you but in fact I am more interested in the ouside of thi model than in the details of the cockpit ..
greatgonzo
Well, as a matter of fact I've been talking about ignition items on the reduction case of the R-2800. Still, enjoy Your built anyway You like. Good luck!
Paul J
Nice. I done the same subject to 48th and used the Hasegawa kit with Life Like decals, But never really completed the decalling because of the nose art on the cowling. Much debate whether it should have a pale blue back gound or yellow; but yellow it is as a colour pic of not good quality exists and can be seen on Little friends website somewhere.
