gurkanozkan
A quick work, ı broke my leg and ı tried to do this vignette by laying down. Finished the figures in a day, and spent half an hour for the surface showing the season passing I think theres no similar vignette like this. I couldnt spend all my attention and not a detailed, hard working job, but I liked it. I hope you enjoy In 1941, nazis storm the Russia, and most of them could not return back.....
Doug Rogers
Nicely done, clever to get a whole story into one simple vignette.
gorilla
A nice wee project looks good. I like the simple cleanness it has, it shows more of the change in surroundings. Hope the leg gets better soon.
Learstang
Excellent! I enjoy watching shows about the Great Patriotic War (the Russo-German war to you bourgeoisie!), and I'm always struck by the difference between the way the German soldiers looked at the beginning of Operation Barbarossa, and the way they looked at the surrender at Stalingrad - and that was only a year and a half's time! That's what defeat, fatigue, frostbite, and famine will do to you. Sometimes we tend to forget war's real cost. Regards, Jason

Mark
I'm neither a figure painter nor diorama builder but I certainly admire and respect the art behind this genre of modelling. That is a brilliant and inspired piece of work.

Thank you Natter, thank you Mark İts really simple, just some attention to work the seasons effects correct, for the figures and for the basement I never saw any alike work like this, ım proud with that ) Im not very good in painting and weathering, so ım trying to do some extra ordinary works not to be a rookie in this forum, in veteran, professional modellers like you

rich2010
I've had another good look at this and it real is outstanding. Not just the modelling, which is great, but the sentiment too. How it represents the mood of the 'soldier' from the initial bravado and arrogance of the first steps into Russia, to the grim reality of the fight: the weather, is impressive.
