pinky coffeeboat
Yeah, great news. It looks a nicely moulded kit too and with the under fuselage Speed Pack and choice of engine nacelles.Mike from Vintage Flyer Decals has added a note to say he's got sheets in preparation...so much for my efforts to reduce my spending on models this year. garryrussell
Didn't the 749 have bigger fins??? Or is it an optical illusion. Nice to have a new Connie...thanks Laurent

Nice to have a new Connie...thanks Laurent Now don't quote me, but I believe the 049/649/749 had the original fins with the 1049 having larger (ie taller) fins. Over on airliner cafe someone has queried if the F-rsin fins are too big. Not a problem really, just a little bit of sanding and reprofiling required. Eric Mc
I would like to do one of these in Aerlinte Éireann colours.
Admiral Puff
Someone's got to say it, so I might as well be the bunny ... Can we PLEASE have these in 1:72? I don't care who does them, as long as they're right. It should avoid the nausea of having to correct the Heller disaster!
