ReccePhreak Posted July 12, 2017 Author Share Posted July 12, 2017 (edited) Has anybody built one of Special Hobby's Firefly kits, using the kit supplied decal for the main instrument panel? On my kit and my friend's kit (different boxings) it appears that they printed the instrument panel decal reversed. I thought about cutting a new instrument panel shape out of clear plastic, applying the decal, then painting the decals black to see if they show through the clear panel okay. If that doesn't work, I will have to use aftermarket dial decals to apply to the kit panel. I am getting more & more frustrated with "Special" Hobby kits. Larry EDIT: My friend just tried to apply his instrument panel decals to the kit's plastic instrument panel, and he discovered that the decals WERE printed upside down, and there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in the instructions that tell you to apply the decals upside down. We're not even sure if they will stick to the panel. I'm sorry, but that is just ASININE RIDICULOUS!
