Homebee
Of interest: http://www.network54.com/Forum/149674/message/1414216133/Mixed+emotions+as+to+their+ML-MLD+release... As to the third-generation MiG-23s, there are some details Trumpeter didn't pay attention to: The forward fuselage of the MiG-23ML/P/MLA/MLD differs quite significantly from its predecessors: distinctive nose droop and recontoured forward portion of the lower fuselage. The kit's fuselage halves are both in shape and size identical to their M/MF counterparts, except for the ML/MLD's different panel line layout and altered hatch arrangement. Roughly speaking,Trumpeter's ML/MLD is more or less a rescribed M/MF fuselage with ML/MLD wings and tail fin. If that's OK for you, go for it! V.P.
