RN Ship's boats and Captain's Barges questions

Can anyone give me details on the colours of RN ship's boats, launches and captain's barges for the post-war period? Specifically, on a/c carriers during the Korean War, but any info on 1950's/60's boats would be useful. I find a few b+w photos online, but nothing in colour.

My understanding is that it was (is?) a captain's prerogative to have the hull of his barge painted in whatever colour he liked - so no rules of thumb!

In that case, anyone know what it was for HMS Ocean or Glory during Korea?

Not so Admirals barges could be any colour, the captians boat more often red

Looking at b+w photos, would it be correct to say that the upper works were white, the upper hull in colour (red, then) and the lower hull also white?

And what colours on the other boats and launches?

I have loads of photos of HMS Belfast taken during the Korean war, and as far as I can tell the upper parts i.e cabins, etc. were white, while the deck was wood. the hull sides would be the light grey of the ship, and the bottom of the hull white. This was how I painted my model, anyway, but someone else might have more info than me. HTH
