stevej60
Thanks guys will post the little I have done today soon,I was gob smacked at the general quality of this ancient kit,OK it,s not Wingnut Wings but decent fabric effect and some nice recessed lines in places pleasantly surprising! stevej60
Hi folks, heres progress to date, for three quid this is a lovely little kit so added stick, instrument panel and a few pieces of evergreen strip to give what little can be seen of the cockpit a bit of life!
stevej60
Latest progress on this little kit,for it,s age no fit issues and still surprised at some of the recessed detail especially round the nose.

stevej60
Hi folks, here,s a little more progress.struts needed a lot of flash removed, and "thinning" and the underside of the top wing had a couple of ejector pin holes filling.I used a little plastic strip on the wheel struts which look way over scale on this kit but looked ok on a gladiator built last year so If I rig the rest I will try stretched sprue.
stevej60
Hi folks, great fun with this one, here,s progress to date camouflage painted minus a couple of spots of black which I will add next session.I could get hooked on these little kits I know ESCI did a few nice WW1 kits which can be picked up cheap as well as the rest of the Revell and Airfix kits.
stevej60
Hi folks, here,s the latest,I dry brushed the ribbed effect areas and glossed for the decals, the top wing is just resting on the airframe for now, next step will be a little wash in the recessed lines and add the wheels, guns then a matt coat, the jury is still out on the rigging.

stevej60
Little more progress, cowl added and top wing also rigged the small struts ahead of the cockpit but the larger struts were all over the place and one snapped off so I removed them and will replace them when I find something suitable.thanks for looking.also washed panel lines nearly forgot!

AdrianMF
That's all coming together nicely. Is the decal on the top of the wings meant to be a newspaper? Regards, Adrian
stevej60
Thanks Adrian,I think it some kind of poster,it,s repeated on the bottom wing It,s very well printed and I will include a photo next update.
stevej60
Hi folks only a little progress as with this and the two mustangs it,s all the little time consuming jobs that need finishing but guns added and prop, I need to make the prop a little more convincing on the bare wood area and have decided to rig what I can.for some reason the kit has a vent recessed on the front of the cowl but not for the other two shown on the box top and instructions so rather than leave it I have used a decal. thanks for taking the time to look
