Modelling Mushi
Hello everyone, I've been a bit neglectful by not posting here for a while, so here's my current SF build. It is a Mars Exploration Vehilce based on a 1/48 LAV Pirahna chassis. I'm getting close to the point where I can close her up. First block of photos shows the bare shell, undersides and then the shell with the legs (or at least 3 thereof) attached: Next block of photos shows where I'm up to now with the control cabin partly completed and some more interior detail on the way. As usual any comments, thoughts or suggestions more than welcomed. Thanks for looking, more posts as it progresses.

Will Vale
That's awesome! So much detail in there, and it has a nice realistic feel to it. I like the bar framework on the bottom (for stowage, or internal bumpers?) and the way you turned the front underside armour plate into more windows. A couple of years ago I started cutting up a LAV chassis with the aim of making an antigrav tank, but I stalled and it's been sitting in a box: Thinking about it I also have a 1/72 Stryker which I started turning into some kind of lander/shuttle thing. There's something about the shape (plus they seem to get discounted a lot...) Look forward to seeing how yours turns out, maybe it'll spur me to restart one of mine.
