zero
Stunning work Sir. I understand the reason for blanking out the swastika's but I like to see them, we must accept history as is, not pick and choose parts to accept, and not accept, this model would not be right without them. Simply stunning work, a truely awsome representation, of a awesome ship. Dave

redcap
MAGNIFICENT MODEL! Just a shame about the 'PC' police blanking out the swastikas in a pathetic attempt to re-write or conceal history. Irrespective, one of the best ship models I have ever seen. Gary
elmarriachi
Hello at all... thank you so much for your kind words. Is it allowed here on that board to show the swastikas? If so... I could add some pictures maybe.... in Germany the symbols are forbidden.... Crazy Germany would kill people using that symbol if they would be allowed to ... SARowl
Fabulous. I'm in awe at the high standard of workmanship.
davetwin
That is some stunning work, I'm not entirely sure what the rule is on the forum regarding swastikas but they are certainly not banned in England, you see them all the times in documentaries. It is crazy that you would have to blank them out on a model that is trying to be historically correct.
sinnerboy
absolutely stunning, I certainly take my hat off to you. that's one of the best if not the best ship models I've ever seen. I have the kit and the Mk1 design DX set ...what exactly did you use in addition to the Mk1 stuff? TIA

elmarriachi
Hello, thank you so much :) :) I am happy hearing that .) In Germany it is banned everywhere....as soon as I bring the kit with the swastikas out of my home I have to cover the symbols.... or on pictures..... everywhere..... if it is allowed in the forum here then I would upload some more pictures... let me know if somebody knows that The symbols are on the deck, on the flags, airplanes, ... @ Tia: I have used the complete set from MK1, some additional PE-parts by German manufacturer http://www.modellschlachtschiffe.de, some boats from CMK, anchor chain by MZ Modellbau (also German company), the flags are from modellschlachtschiffe.de too, the swastikas on the deck are Blue Ridge Models. Reg. the modellschlachtschiffe.de - if you have any chance to avoid ordering anything from them.... do it. It is a very unsympathic guy, no answers, long delivery times (I waited more then 5 weeks for a first reply and even more weeks till I got the parts). I love these big things by Trumpeter & Co.... now the Hornet, then the Missouri with the Pontos and Veteran stuff, then coming the Hood, and hopefully more....
