Roman Schilhart
Hello, my attempt on small-scale armor: 1/72 Revell's Panzer III Ausf.M with side skirts and small details from Eduard Photo Etch. This is a vehicle of 6.Panzerdivision, in action at Kursk, 1943. Painted with colours from the Gunze/Mr.Hobby range. Decals from the box. Thanks for looking! Oddball
Lovely work Roman, particularly on the subtleness of the weathering. It looks more like 1/35 than 1/72 to me. What did you use for the mud? What's next on the bench then? Odd.
Roman Schilhart
Lovely work Roman, particularly on the subtleness of the weathering. It looks more like 1/35 than 1/72 to me. What did you use for the mud? What's next on the bench then? Odd. I stippeled an old brush in Vallejo filler (thinned down with water) and applied it to the lower side before painting to achieve an uneven texture. On the model, it was covered with various shades of brown to simulate mud. Scratches on the hull and skirts were replicated with a pencil. The side skirts themselves were 'damaged' using a file and a ball pen. Dust is pigments (from Tamiya), additional weathering was done with artist oils. I'm currently working on a Bedford QLT from IBG Models; that is a tricky kit, believe me. At the moment, I'm trying to get the wheels lined up with the Fenders, but it seems there's something wrong ... so please stand-by for results! Thanks for feedback, Roman

HL-10
Lovely looking model! Definitely wouldn't think it was 72nd scale!
fredben
Roman, For the size of this tank it looks brilliant. Painting, weathering and detail are spot on. you would not think this was 1/72. Like this very much. What is the main sand colour on the tank. I can never get the right colour....
