Hawker Typhoon Mk.1B Late Type Cannons with Covered Barrels

The fearsome 20mm Hispano Suiza cannon was one of the defining features of the Hawker Typhoon which, combined with the 60lb rockets, provided it with a credible air-to-ground capability. Gun or cannon barrels are usually a weak point when it comes to injection moulded kits, so it's good to see Polish outfit Master continuing their range of turned aluminium and brass sets with this handy pack of four barrels. The quality is great and the inclusion of photo etched plates is a thoughtful touch too.

Conclusion

This is a great little set of cannon barrels. The level of detail and strength of the parts makes them a highly tempting proposition for owners of the new Airfix (or any other) Hawker Typhoon. Highly recommended.
