GordonD Posted April 20, 2014 Share Posted April 20, 2014 In hindsight (like so many good ideas) LOR seems so obvious, but it took Houbolt's persistence to force NASA to consider it. However, I thought I would post on this topic as Houbolt was a key reason why Apollo was able to get to the moon within the time limit set by Kennedy. Another key member of the Apollo team gone.
