Well done Frank, that is just stunning mate :goodjob:

All the effort you have put into this has been more than worth it and shows .

Its been a joy watching you put this together, I can't believe this was the practice run :)

How did you find the water effect ?

Congratulations on seeing it through to the finish

Cheers Callum

Thanks Folks, glad you like it.

It was the Airfix Victory Murdo mate, but altered a lot, there is a work in progress thread on it if your Interested.

Thanks to scalewarships and extras from Airfix plus some scratch building, this turned out a very Interesting build.

'O', and thank the wife for her help with the background.

I appreciate all the nice comments and hope to take this diorama to shows this year.

Cheers foxy :coolio:

Thanks again chaps.

It was that Steve, felt a little :mental: at times.

It turned out better than I expected, with the ship showing in the water, better when you see it up close.

Regards Frank :coolio:

Very nicely done to date. When you do the mooring ropes, don't forget the fenders to stop her banging into the dock. I usually soak the ropes in dilute white glue, they hang better and stay in place once dry. She would be moored with bow and stern lines as well as springs.

Happy modelling,

Mike

Hi Foxy

I really enjoyed following the build especially when the other half did the buildings and backdrop, great teamwork.

I am about to let my 8 year old loose on a model of victory any tips, other than strong alcohol ........ That's for me I hasten to add not the 8 year old !

Cheers Pat
