It was the Airfix Victory Murdo mate, but altered a lot, there is a work in progress thread on it if your Interested. Thanks to scalewarships and extras from Airfix plus some scratch building, this turned out a very Interesting build. 'O', and thank the wife for her help with the background. Mike W Posted April 27, 2014 Share Posted April 27, 2014 Very nicely done to date. When you do the mooring ropes, don't forget the fenders to stop her banging into the dock. I usually soak the ropes in dilute white glue, they hang better and stay in place once dry. She would be moored with bow and stern lines as well as springs. I am about to let my 8 year old loose on a model of victory any tips, other than strong alcohol ........ That's for me I hasten to add not the 8 year old !
