Hello,

I know Ray at 26decals released the Fly kit with the markings you're after. But, that was a few years ago and he doesn't have any in stock (I too would like to make the DC-9 in those colours). Your best chance could be searching eBay or the buy&sell section here or other places.

It could be worth asking Ray if he could laser print a set of those decals. He's normally very helpful like that.

I have a slight recollection of (possibly) Aviagraphics or Flightpath releasing a set of BM decals but they may have been the later diamond colours.

He did sell the same kit with Aviaco markings which I have, as that was the first jet I ever flew in.

Good luck, and if you do find a couple let me know and I'll buy the other!!!

Hi Glyn,

The sheet you're after was made by Flightpath, number FP44-311 and it is very good. They also issued a Diamond Scheme DC-9 on FP44-92 along with sheets for the 737-300 (FP44-91), BAC1-11 (FP44-94), Viscount (FP44-313), 707 (FP44-310) and F27 (FP44-312). S&M Decals also released a sheet for G-BMAK, number SM44-73, but I've not seen this so can't say how accurate or complete it is. You might be able to get this sheet from AJ Aviation (formerly The Aviation Hobby Shop/TAHS).

I was lucky enough to get one of the last TwoSix DC-9 kits at Telford a couple of years ago when Ray discovered he had a couple of extra sheets :) . Here's the box on Airlinercafe's database: http://www.airlinercafe.com/photo_6659.details.large. The markings represent the first and last liveries used on the DC-9 as the red stripe was added just before we replaced them with the Fokker 100 and 70.

HTH,

Jonathan
