Graeme
At last! A kit that the rivet counters can actually count the rivets on! Great news, but what do you reckon - £50+ in the UK?

prowler0000
I wonder if they're gonna do the tracks like the Char B? Or just Link & Length? Whichever, that's a LOT of rivets to count.......

Gumbie Air Services
I'm so interested in WWI, but I have been thinking about getting the Emhar 1/35 kits. Last time I looked, they were around £18-£19. I'm not to sure about the quality, so I'm really interested about this new release. Hopefully, they will release a Female, Hemaphrodite, Whippet and the German A7 too.
pte1643
I have been thinking about getting the Emhar 1/35 kits. Last time I looked, they were around £18-£19. I'm not to sure about the quality There's a few "Issues" with the Emhar kits, but all-in-all they build into nice models. I'm just wondering if this release may be a re-jigg of the Emhar kit (much like the Tamiya/Italeri Hurricane)???
Chris B
Great news. Lets hope it's a new mould and not a re-pop of the Emhar kit that's now rather long in the tooth as well as having accuracy issues. I made the Emhar Mk IV many years ago and it's still sat on the shelf next to my AA Little Willie though alas painted in a dark green under the layers of dust- well I knew no better in those days of long ago. I've a particular interest in the Mk IV and later versions in that my grandfather was a steersman/driver in them in 1916 - 18. I've had the great pleasure of being able to clamber inside Bovington's Mk IV and could well imagine the heat, fumes, noise and general discomfort that I remember him describing to me 50+ years ago. Mike
I for one am very very happy as I have a soft spot for WWI armour, although if the talk of motorising is true, I'd have preferred an interior if I'm honest Still - mustn't grumble, or Dave will have us court-martialled

jargonking
Personally I'd hang fire until Shizuoka before writing the kit off as any information, regardless of it's source, will be speculative at best and is probably based on the odd conversation with Tamiya employees in Japan. Tamiya have made RC tanks at 1/35 based on perfectly acceptable non-motorised kits so the motorised version, should it exist, may be just one of a range of options Tamiya may be planning to offer. Kuro Nezumi
If this one is going to motorized, then a motorized A7V should be completely necessary.
AlCZ
Supeeer ! I hope in Meng, but Tamiya is for me better )) I can't search for ancient EMHAR...
SeaVenom
Motorized............what the??????? That doesn't sound too good. Please say that ain't true it'll have tracks made of rubber which will be rubbish for a start.
darson
Whichever the the kit goes, motorized/non-motorized I'm not really fussed. It looks like we're getting a new tool Mk.IV (click me) from a major manufacturer and that's fantastic news. Throw on a set of Fruils if the Tamiya tracks are not to your liking and Bob's your uncle. SleeperService
This is a great release! Using the MkIV gives the best option for making the early and later vehicles as well. The only thing wrong is that it is in 35th rather than 48th to go with my aircraft. That's just to prove Flemming's second law of modelling Apparently at least one manufacturer is still looking for new areas to exploit!
Shar2
Surely then it should be in 1/32 to match the Wingnut Wings kits
lentorpe
Confronted feelings... 1.- Yeeee-haw! 2.- Why the f*** didn´t I wait until 2014 WW1 centennial before purchasing and starting my Emhar kit? At least I hope that If I ever decide to build another, Tamiya´s kit will make Emhar´s cheaper.
