Andrew March
At that price, they can shove it! They must think we're mugs. I could build my own for a tenth of that!
Pilgrim_UK
£1084 (special offer price) for a model of the pegasus bridge seems a bargain to me. Surely thats museum grade stuff and not for the average Joe. You choose: buy this model or go to the real area and spend a week there.
pigsty
Economics Part 1 suggests one of two things: 1 They think they can shift this thing at this price. 2 They're off their trolleys. Criminolo thisgy adds: 3 It's a scam. 3 would seem a strange thing to do - a very obscure area to be scamming in, with an even more obscure bauble dangled in front of, I dunno, eight people? There are much easier ways to make money from the gullible. 2 is possible but there does seem to be some background to this mob that suggests they've not lost it suddenly. This leaves 1. And that takes us, as it generally does, to: who are we to take a pop at how other people spend their money?

pte1643
Whatever the price etc.. Where on earth would one display it for heavens sake!!!!!!!!! Exactly... By rough approximation, given the pictures and "Ball Park" dimensions of the real bridge... The kit would be over 8ft long! Shermaniac
At that price one would have at least expected free shipping on this one They forgot to add the £3k for the extra large Shed or £10k for the home extension to house this beast Would be most impressive but not for me I'm afraid
Killingholme
Nah, I'm not impressed. Call me when they do the Arnhem bridge or the Ludendorff... Seriously though, I would question whether resin really is the best medium for a kit like this? I know real bridges need expansion joints, but a resin model this big must certainly need them too! Imagine how gutted you would be if it warped over time! If I had limitless modelling time, a bigger house and a more understanding wife, I'd instead get the scale drawings and commission a set of laser-cut plywood parts on which I'd stick brass overlays with all the twiddly bits on it. While I'm on it, I don't suppose anyone knows of a source of scale drawings do they? The shapes all look quite simple to scratchbuild.... RichO
Gorgeous kit!! I think it's a bit to much cost wise tho, for me anyway.

Don't mind at all. I'd never heard of them either till I saw this discussion. Item arrived yesterday. Quite happy with that . Certainly no problems & I'll use them again. Allan ps - just be thankful they didn't kit the Forth Bridge!! Now, even in 1/76 scale...............................................!!!!!!!!! .And, you'd have to start painting again as soon as you finished!!
