Carius
Gentlemen, this project involves the Kettenkrad, scale 1/9, from Revell. The interior was rebuilt as the early model. The kit is very bad, so I had to rebuilt the whole engine, pulleys, timing belt (with serial number), gearbox, exhaust system (with movable door) and many other itens. The engine is a 1748cc Opel Olympia, the carburetor is the trademark SOLEX and radiator is of the trademark WERKEL. I also made the whole system of torsion bars. Well, over 500 pieces were made.. Carius
Sharkmouth, I appreciate the interest and I'm glad you enjoyed. Yes, the large scale required a more meticulous work on it. Cheers!
Radpoe Spitfire
That's looking rather good, I'm trying to think who originally marketed this kit. I'm sure it was part of a series that included a Kubelwagen, Zundapp & Triumph M/C's.
