Hepster
Currently reading the 2005 book by Peter Vacher about the restoration of Hurricane R4118 - awesome! I'm in Hurricane build mode at the moment, with a couple of kits in progress, so this book fit my frame of mind perfectly. Miggers
It's a brilliant story. I spoke to one of the ex-BBMF boys( Al Pinner) that had been flying it a little a few years ago. He reckoned it was so original it was scarily good,a nice flyer, but with only a 1000 gee-gees under the bonnet, you had to think about what you wanted to do in it. Ray S
Too true it is a great book. My good lady wifey bought this one for me for Christmas and it is a fabulous read. I have had experience in Nepal about trying to get things done, and it seems just the same in India... My good lady got my copy from our local garden centre, and it did not cost too much either. Recommended. Kind regards, Ray
