Step
This should be fun then! Tortoise is nearly complete needs a second blow over with the airbrush, im going down the route of silly big Assualt guns so makes sense to have one of these. Its silly, and big.
Panzer Vor!!!
I believe you don't need half the parts!!!! Your spares box is going to be overflowing
Shermaniac
You do get a few 'spares' but they will come in very usefull somewhere - you can really only build this as a 'what-if' as the dimensions are a bit off with Dragon using regular Sherman HVSS Track instead of the smaller type. A massively impressive kit nonetheless - I enjoyed building mine
SleeperService
IIRC when Shermaniac was building his the tracks tended to bow in around the drive sprocket. I'd advise putting some packing between the wheel hub and track to support the track as much as possible. I'd also suggest shermaniac ammends his signature line. I know of a lot more in progress than 60+ and I'm sure there are plenty I don't know about Enjoy the build step and

AND, I don't really know the full extent of the amount but they're going down steadily YEAH, pack those drive sprockets out, you'll thank us both later - it will be invisible later on anyway
MrBurns
By the end of WWII, they came out with some monstrous tank designs. Look at that thing, you'd think that nothing could destroy it!
Step
Thanks guys, started work today on the wheel sets, done four wheelsets using springs for now, ive not glued where the springs sit into so if you compress them you can remove them so i can pack with foam if needed. These make the suspension from the Tortoise seem like a doddle and with the same result as in you dont see any of it! Your right on the spares front its going to be overflowing at this rate, I picked up a little M8 HMC which had a full sprue of side arms so ill add these to them. Nothing really photo worthy so far bar four sets of wheels.
CymroPenguin
Wow, that's going to be big... I'd love one of these tbh (better start saving I know) but I swear it'd take me about a year to build, and then another 2 years to paint it It is a really cool tank design though and looks like a great kit despite the really massive design and all
