F-32
I'm in with this little corker! I've also just ordered a couple more, if I get a shifty on I might do a second.

Giorgio N
I see that you're leaving out the leading edge of the wing, guess for the alumunium painted strip. A note on this: it did not run to the whole chord of the slat but only for about 1/3 of the chord. Sometimes the kits instructions tell to paint the whole slats in silver but this is not correct

F-32
Second and final coat of grey is on, part of me thinks it's too dark but some of the Cat photos I have seem fairly dark (I'll lighten it on my second build). Engines have been painted and the nose has had its first coat of tan. Things left to do: detail painting in the cockpit to make it stand out a bit more, second coat of tan on the nose, doors and undercarriage need to be added, missile rails, paint the hook, add the canopy, edges of the fins silver, edges of the wings silver (waiting for masking tape to arrive from Hannants), pitot tube silver, any other bits and bobs to paint and the airframe (collision lights etc) Klear coat and decals. Hopefully this will be a complete Cat but the end of the weekend! Neal
Looking great. Every picture I look at seems to be a subtlety different shade of grey, yours looks spot on to me.
Giorgio N
Agree with Neal, the grey does not look too dark in the pictures. True that pictures on a computer monitor are one thing and the real model is another one..
tc2324
Looks a good colour grey to me. Excellent work so far.
F-32
Canopy is now on and painted together with the black surround and anti glare panel. Nose cone has had the second coat of tan and the gun panel has been painted. Undercarriage legs, bay doors and wing glove pylons are in the spray booth (spare cupboard) and should be ready later today After looking at the pics I think the canopy could do with another coat of black, so I'll add that to the list!
