fredben
Italeri 1/35 M107 175mm SP Gun. The marking on the gun is from 8th Battalion 4th Artillery XXIV Corps. US Army in Vietnam 1969. If it's wrong, i's not my fault it's Italeri. This was a good kit to build, all items that are supposed to move on the real build move, you just have to put items together on a dry run before gluing to find out which to glue or not because the instructions are not very helpful. Painted with vallejo US dark green, Used some pastels and wash over the main build and also used brown pastel mixed with water for the red mud colour and painted it on and wiped off excess to blend in. Added some little extras not in the box, Kit bags, oil drums and a couple of rifles to add to the build. weathered the oil drums with some grime and oil from KA. Nice build and happy with it. Comments please and advice on the build if needed. This is a big barrel on this build, never realized the size of the guns used in Vietnam before until i built this.

Shermaniac
Nice job there fredben I also built this a dozen or so years ago (as a British one) and the only issue I had was the Crappy Italeri Track - which was always way too stiff. Other than that I remember really enjoying the build.
fredben
Thanks Carius glad you like it. Yes Shermaniac it was good to build, not many parts but enjoyable, The tracks at least were not the individual links that take forever to make and as you say "always too stiff" but already complete and I only had to prime and colour. Job Done. thanks for comments..
