Allright that cowling...

Theese were hard to do, now they are done for shure....the MGs channels are covered on this one.

Used Florys rust wash to look after errors, yep it will be riveted to.

Thanks all for the kind words.

More riveting...

But hey they are done. ive enhanced on one with Florys Black Wash to enhance the rivets, easier to see errors.

I scratch, riveting, doing all that before the actual build starts, it works for me, easier to see if there are things that need solutions ;)

Allright...

Chapter Droptank and tubing is done...i never got pleased with the first tubing so, re draw them, also trimmed the droptank at the end....maybe not 100% right but ists good enoug for me, looked at many walkarounds, so i bit there and here, and my qualified guessingand arthistic freedom on this one....

Also the wing joint si done, with that angled panel line, used CA glue and baking powder to full sinkmarks, tiny tiny gaps, benefit is that it dries instantly, no shrinking, also easy to work with, o do not try to use that much putty (talking tamiya putty) , since loong curing time, hard to draw panel lines in it, since it feels cured but its not, i only use disolved Tamoya putty in acetone to use as a sort of surfacer, it dries fast, and its awesome in my opinion.

Next The armour in at the back in the canopy or the engine....oh well first a few beers after this days build session....and we see.

Stay tuned.

Mate... Unreal skills. My two are looking like they're from kiddie-land compared to this!

Incredible detailing, the fuel tank and its attachments and lines are incredibly realistic. Kudos.

My instructions have steel - so I painted that area gunmetal on mine. Most of the profiles I've seen have it as a dark metallic colour as do most of the b/w photos I've seen.

Thanks Parabat.

Yep Black and White photos are difficutl to see.

But i do think that they were painted the fact to protect from corrosion, but hey, theese birds never were meant to last long either, we will se about what i will choose,

My strongest candidate is the RLM 02, ive seen photos on very dark green, to black, but they were restored ones, so i do think that they arent the right color as most restored ww2 birds have.

also the ones that really knew what color it was were the maintance crew, pilots and so on....but decision is not made yet.

So going Mals Way of interpretation ;) ...but we see about that later ;)

Edit, got info that it may been RLM66 to....it sounds in a way right to....
