AntPhillips
As I haven't yet been able to put together a permanent modelling space with a spray booth set up, I'm tending to use spray bombs outdoors for a lot of my modelling needs, and as I'm predominantly building post war/modern Royal Navy subjects at the moment, I wonder if anyone has tried the relatively new Tamiya TS-81 Royal Navy Grey, I guess this was introduced to complement the WW2 battleships in the Tamiya portfolio but would it also be a good match for modern Royal Navy subjects? I have an Airfix Illustrious on the go and Airfix recommend Humbrol 127 which is USN Lt. Ghost Grey but the equivalent Tamiya AS spray bomb gives a way too blue end result, I'm hoping TS-81 will be more acceptable. If it's no good then I'll just have to dig out the airbrush and compressor and use the WEM paints, it's just not as convenient as the spray bomb.
