Wessex HAS.3 Sonar/Radar ops

I'm close but there's no way I'll get as accurate as that

I cannot find out if there is a lower shroud as some people model for the innards

I'm at a point where I can pop the sonar in if there's no more to add

Is  the 195 dunker the same as that later Sea King kit Crisp?

Not a lot like what is in the Airfix Sea king is it

James I've seen the sonar modelled as if it sits inside a tube but that very clear floor of the rig picture shows no signs of grubber proof fastenings that such a device might need

I will be hanging fire for a while before I make that irrevocable decision

I do have the rearward curtain which shows up in the Wessex AP 101 etc but that does not show any further interior protection gear, certainly no big tube round the 'ole

The sonar body is essentially the same, Bill, though the Sea King's was a more capable unit because of better electronics.  It was never in a tube as far as I know - Wessex or Sea King - but it did have a curtain across to shield it.  I am away from hone but will post a Sea King photo to show what I mean (later if I remember)
