2013 - The return of the IrritableRabbit

Recommended Posts

Ah. 2013. The year my 30 year hiatus from making models came to an end. Partially because of the skill and enthusiasm shown here, and partially because some eejit bought me some model kits for Christmas 2012. :evil_laugh:

So for 2013 I managed five complete builds, as said the first in 30 years. Only five because Real LifeTM reasserts itself and after May I start to get really busy. Which is a good thing.

But what did I build? The following five in order first to last. All 1/72. :)

I'm a photographer so apologies for the photos.. It's not what I normally shoot. ;)

Above all. Thank you all for your attention, support and inspiration!

I thinks it's time for me to take a 30 year sabbatical! They're all first class builds :goodjob:

Cliff

nooo! Don't!!! You'll regret it.

If I did it again I'd be the first Zombie modeler. :)

Some lovely builds with equally good photo's :)

Cheers again Woody

That Sabre just knocks my socks off.

I hope you got new ones for Christmas. :o

Good grief, what were your builds 30 years ago like? These are magnificent, subtle weathering and all!

Absolutely top drawer.

Cheers,

Mike

Funny you should ask. I just dug out some prints from back then. You don't really want to know. I was about 12 - 15 years old. We didn't have the information or the products and some of the associated techniques back then? :o

I think I prefer nowadays. :D
