newpiggypod1 Posted January 3, 2014 Share Posted January 3, 2014 (edited) I've just been gifted a Leopard a4 by Tamiya but upon reading some online reviews it does not appear to be a good representation and is rated well below italeri's offering, as a dedicated aviation fan i would not mind having a go at building this kit but would it need much work to bring it up to scratch ? pigsty Posted January 6, 2014 Share Posted January 6, 2014 It's true that the Italeri kit is better, but the Tamiya kit ent bad for all that. If you're mainly an aviation builder, you may not want to get too hung up on the fine details - if you look at it as a try-out for the basics, you could find out whether you like armour as well.
