Plastic Licker
Hi all, this is the Dragon 1/35 firefly kit, with Eduard brass and AFV Club tracks added. It's done up as 'New Mexico' of the 1st Northamptonshire Yeomanry in Normandy 1944, with mostly home-made markings. The figures are by Bronco, and the bunker is some sort of eastern European kit that I lost the box and instructions for. Comments and critique are welcome! Brasso27
Looks fab. I'm currently doing a Firefly from the 1st NHY. Can you shed some light on the turret marking system they used? I know such markings were unofficial, and so followed different formats for different units. I suspect in the case of the NHY they just numbered all tanks sequentially. Do you have any info on this? Badder
Great job on the Firefly, I can't fault it. I particularly like the figures. Very realistic poses and beautifully painted. The groundwork is superb. I do question the large 'blacked out' sides to the 'pill box' though. I assume it did have side walls and wonder why you 'chopped' them off?
