I've been using rattle can cleaner, which seems to strip everything (including dissolving the nitrile disposable gloves I was wearing!) but I've got some Vallejo airbrush cleaner on order. Nigel Heath Posted December 25, 2013 Share Posted December 25, 2013 I think Vallejo cleaner is mainly water with some IPA and detergents added. The IPA will probably shift some enamel but it is not the best product. It is intended as an acrylic cleaner only. I agree with Steve on the Tamiya cleaner. rayprit Posted December 28, 2013 Share Posted December 28, 2013 I cleaned my airbrush last night with Val airbrush cleaner after spraying enamel, it hardly touched it, ................mainly as already has been mentioned because its an acrylic paint cleaner, I realised that whilst spraying it through the brush as it came out like a machine gun, spits and spatters, so, out came the white spirit.....job done. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
